The vessel will undergo mooring tests there
KHABAROVSK, October 6. /TASS/. The Amur Shipbuilding Plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur sent a multipurpose patrol ship "Sharp" for testing in Primorye, the press service of the plant reported.
A multi-purpose patrol ship (corvette) of project 20380 "Sharp" (factory construction No. 2104) left the water area of the completed embankment of the Amur Shipbuilding Plant (part of the USC). The transport and launching dock "ZEYA" with the ship on board set a course for Vladivostok," the distributed release says.
According to the words of the responsible deliverer Razhden Baratashvili, which are given in the message, mooring tests will begin upon arrival of the ship at the delivery base. All work is carried out in the construction schedules, and subject to the fulfillment by the supplier contractors of their obligations, the transfer of the ship to the customer will take place next year.
The Amur Shipyard is the main base for the construction of warships for the Pacific Fleet in the Far East. Shipbuilders have mastered the construction of corvettes of project 20380, three guardships are already in service - "Perfect", "Loud", "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov". This line will be continued by "Sharp", "Terrible" and "Brave".
The construction of the patrol ships of the next project, the contract for which the plant received at the end of last year, will begin with the corvette "Violent" - the order for six combat units the plant must fulfill by 2028. The company is working on another important military order - a series of four small rocket ships of the Karakurt type.
On the eve it became known that the National Defense and Security Council (NSDC) of Ukraine imposed sanctions against the Amur Shipyard and two other Russian enterprises for three years. As the press service of the plant told TASS, the sanctions will not affect the work of the enterprise.
