Joint Russian-Pakistani exercises "dRuzhba-2021" are taking place in the Krasnodar Territory, during which the military uses the latest OVR-3SH mine clearance kits when storming buildings.
Engineering assault units of the Southern Military District and Pakistani special forces are participating in the exercises. They study the actions of assault groups and carry out cleaning of premises with the use of OVR-3SH and AK-12 Kalashnikov assault rifles.
The guests from Pakistan were particularly interested in the mine clearance kit, which is designed to equip assault units of engineering troops performing tasks in urbanized areas. According to the press service of the Southern Military District, the OVR-3SH includes equipment of the maximum degree of protection, an assault knife, a multifunctional sapper knife, a bulletproof vest and a set of tools to ensure emergency access to the building. The set includes eight suits of combat protective equipment "Raid-L-Assault", each of them weighs 25 kilograms.
The exercises at the Molkino training ground will last until October 9, in total about 200 Russian and Pakistani servicemen take part in them.
