Specialists of the communications troops of the Eastern Military District (VVO) conducted a large-scale radio training.
During the exercises, they worked out ensuring stable and continuous communication between the control points of the association.
Military signalmen fulfilled the standards for the deployment of medium-power radio stations "ARTEK", unified command and staff vehicles based on the armored personnel carrier BTR-80, hardware stations and communication complexes "Redut" after the march and arrival in an unfamiliar area, and then worked out ways to ensure communication in various modes and held videoconference sessions.
Also, during the exercise, the issues of masking field control points and protecting them from attacks by attack unmanned aerial vehicles of a conditional enemy were worked out.
The tasks were carried out in a complex radio interference situation, which was provided by the electronic warfare unit using portable noise generators.
In total, more than 1,000 servicemen took part in the event, about 300 units of special equipment were involved, including modern REDUT complexes, radio relay stations, radio stations and portable satellite communication stations Belozer.
