Russia and India will host stations of ground navigation systems on a mutual basis. This was announced on Thursday, September 30, according to the ROSCOSMOS report .
"Work is underway on the mutual, parity placement of ground stations for collecting measurements of the Russian Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS) and the Indian regional navigation satellite system NavIC on the territories of the Republic of India and the Russian Federation, respectively, as well as on the mutual parity placement of ground stations for collecting measurements of the GLONASS system and the Chinese Beidou on the territory of the PRC and the Russian Federation, respectively," the text of the document says.
The report also reports that ROSCOSMOS plans to sign a cooperation agreement with the European Space Agency in the field of lunar exploration, RT reports.
The day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the fulfillment of instructions for the long-term development of the space industry.
So, in April, the Government was instructed to prepare a set of appropriate measures, but this was not fully done. According to the Russian leader, delays in the implementation of the program can lead to risks.
Putin also recalled that a program for the development of the Russian GLONASS navigation system until 2030 has been approved.
