The Omsk submarine and the vAryag cruiser launched cruise missiles at a target at a distance of over 450 km during an exercise off the coast of Kamchatka.

"As part of the exercise, the Guards missile cruiser vAryag launched a Vulcan cruise missile, and the crew of the Omsk missile defense System fired an anti-ship cruise missile GRANIT from an underwater position," the report says.
According to objective control data, both missiles successfully hit a target located at a distance of over 450 kilometers, the press service informed.
The safety of the combat exercise and the closure of the firing area were provided by 12 ships and support vessels of the Pacific Fleet.
It is noted that for objective control of the results of the firing, naval aviation aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles were involved, the report says.
