MOSCOW, 28 Sep - RIA Novosti. The Arbitration Court of Moscow on the claim of the Baltic Shipbuilding Plant "Yantar" (Kaliningrad) recovered more than 172 million rubles from the Ministry of Defense of Russia, follows from the published on Tuesday, the operative part of the court's decision.

The first instance fully satisfied the plaintiff's claim to recover the debt under the state contract dated March 22, 2010 for the implementation of experimental design work on the topic "Creation of a deep-water complex consisting of an oceanographic vessel and deep-water technical means for the needs of the Ministry of Defense". The contract price is about 6.9 billion rubles.

At first, Yantar also demanded to oblige the defendant to accept the result of the work performed, but then refused to file a claim in this regard. No other details have been announced yet.

The Ministry of Defense has also previously filed lawsuits against shipbuilders under this state contract. Currently, the Yantar plant is building the second vessel of this project, the Almaz.
