MOSCOW, 26 Sep-RIA Novosti. Three Su-35S fighters escorted a strategic bomber B-52N of the US Air Force, which was approaching the borders of Russia in the Pacific Ocean, the National Defense Control Center reported.
After the American plane moved away from the border of the country's airspace, the crews of Russian fighter jets returned to the airfields.
It is noted that the flight of the Su-35S was carried out in strict accordance with the international rules for the use of airspace.
Recently, the activity of foreign reconnaissance aircraft and drones near the Russian borders has significantly increased. The Defense Ministry has repeatedly called on Western partners to abandon such actions, but there is no reaction.
