The second serial nuclear-powered vessel of the Borey-A project will go to sea for testing in 2022. Now the ship is being prepared for launching, the date of the ceremony will be determined before the end of the year.
- The cruiser will face sea trials, so the maximum amount of installation work will be performed before launching. The ship's hull is formed, all large-sized equipment is loaded into it. Now hundreds of kilometers of cables are being tightened, energy lines and onboard networks, mechanisms are being formed. The pace of work is high, everything is going according to schedule for Severodvinsk residents, " Vladimir Korolev, deputy head of the United Shipbuilding Corporation for Military Shipbuilding, told TASS.
The submarine "Generalissimo Suvorov" was laid down in 2014. Currently, six ships of the Borey-A project are at various stages of construction.
