The division of mobile coastal anti-ship missile systems (BPRK) "Bastion" of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet) conducted exercises on missile strikes when deployed from the march and from hidden firing positions. This was announced by the information support department of the Black Sea Fleet on Thursday, September 23.
A special feature of the exercises was the use of drones to track the ship's group of a conditional enemy on the distant borders of defeat. Having received instructions on the targets, the Bastion calculations were brought into position and launched missiles at the detected training targets. The enemy ships depicted two large ship shields (BCS).
The servicemen also fulfilled the standards for removing the complexes from under attack, changing, equipping and masking both new and false starting positions.
The exercise was conducted in accordance with the combat training plan of the fleet forces against the background of joint exercises of the ships of the Crimean and Novorossiysk Naval Bases of the Black Sea Fleet, taking place in the Black Sea.
On September 4, the Russian Defense Ministry announced live firing exercises in the Crimea, where units of the Marine corps and the army corps of the Black Sea Fleet will be involved.
On Monday, September 20, it became known that about 20 ships and vessels of the Black Sea Fleet went to sea for a shooting exercise. The event involves missile, anti-submarine ships, submarines, fleet minesweeping forces, auxiliary and rescue vessels, aircraft and helicopters.
