MOSCOW, September 21. /TASS/. Russia plans to allocate about 629.64 billion rubles for the implementation of the state program "Space Activities of Russia" in 2022-2024, according to the explanatory note to the draft budget for this period, which is available to TASS.
According to the document, it is planned to allocate 210.22 billion rubles in 2022, about 209.61 billion rubles in 2023, and about 209.8 billion rubles in 2024.
As specified in the explanatory note, the volumes of budget allocations provided for in the draft law compared to the volumes approved earlier, "in 2022 they were increased by 21,561.1 million rubles, in 2023 by 21,432. 9 million rubles, in 2024 compared to the volumes provided for in the draft law for 2023, they were increased by 183.9 million rubles."
The increase in the budget, the document says, is due to the reservation of funds in the amount of 9.5 billion rubles in 2022 to ensure priority projects in the field of research and use of outer space, an increase in budget allocations by 6.8 billion rubles in 2022 in order to provide state support to the Khrunichev Center.
It is also planned to increase budget allocations by 6.15 billion rubles in 2022, by 7.1 billion rubles in 2023 and by 6.8 billion rubles in 2024 in order to implement fundamental space research and priority projects in the field of space exploration and use.
