In the Kurgan region, the Khokhlovskoye field began to extract uranium using digital technology. It helps to remotely monitor the process and monitor its environmental friendliness.
The press service of the ARMZ uranium holding, which includes the developer of the deposit, JSC Dalur, said that all technological processes are controlled from the main control room. The operator can observe from the monitor screens all the processes taking place at the local sorption plant and at the underground leaching site.
The "Smart landfill of borehole underground leaching" technology helps to check the situation at the field sites and ensure the environmental safety of work. The technology also helps to make predictions about how solutions will behave in the geological environment. Later, the development will be used at other fields in the region.
The "smart polygon" was created with the participation of scientists from the Seversk Technological Institute of the National Research University " MEPhI "within the framework of the unified digital strategy of Rosatom. The technology should help in the development of the national project "Digital Economy" in the Kurgan region, writes the news agency "<url>".
