Moscow. September 17. INTERFAX-Konstantin Matveev has been appointed Deputy General Director of Roscosmos for capital Construction, the state corporation reported.
"The members of the Supervisory Board have agreed on the appointment of Konstantin Nikolaevich Matveev as Deputy General Director for capital Construction of the State Corporation for Space Activities Roscosmos," the report says.
In June, the state corporation reported that Tatyana Andreeva-Yanskaya was appointed acting Deputy General Director for capital Construction of Roscosmos.
Earlier, Roscosmos reported that the former deputy director of the state corporation for capital construction, Yuri Roslyak, went to work at the Khrunichev Center.
In turn, Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said that Roslyak was dismissed from office because of claims to his work. "As far as I know, Roslyak, the deputy general director of Roscosmos, who was responsible until recently for the construction, including the Vostochny cosmodrome, has been relieved of his post," Borisov said in an interview with RBC - TV, saying that the Investigative Committee had revealed a number of serious violations at Baikonur.
"The funds that we allocated for the modernization of infrastructure, for the maintenance of the city's vital activity, have also been plundered and criminal cases have been opened, and a number of responsible employees have already been arrested," the Deputy Prime Minister said.
