TSAMTO, September 17. Deputy Defense Minister Alexey Krivoruchko, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Ryazantsev and Deputy General Director of USC Andrey Buzinov paid a working visit to the Yantar plant.
The delegation inspected the production facilities of the enterprise, got acquainted with the progress of the construction of delivery orders and the reconstruction of the completion embankment.
Ilya Samarin, General Director of Yantar, reported to the guests on the current indicators of the plant's fulfillment of the state defense order and orders under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. According to him, "we continue to work on the construction and delivery of a number of military and civilian ships, including within the framework of international cooperation. As part of the cluster cooperation of enterprises of the shipbuilding industry of the region, we participate in the construction of an electric ferry and plan to build catamaran-type boats of the Dobrynya project.
After inspecting the orders, Alexey Krivoruchko held a meeting on the implementation of the state defense order. He stressed that the Yantar plant is able to cope with any task. At the meeting, it was noted that shipbuilders are ready to accelerate the construction of two large amphibious ships of the 11711 project, despite the technical difficulties that have arisen.
As part of the working visit, a meeting was held with the Governor of the Kaliningrad Region. During the meeting, Anton Alikhanov stressed the special importance of optimal loading of the Yantar PSZ, including as a socially significant factor in the development of the region.
