In Kamchatka, the division of the coastal anti-ship missile complex "Bal", which is part of the missile connection of troops and forces in the North-East of Russia, was alerted as part of a tactical exercise that has begun, said on Wednesday the head of the information support department of the press service of the VVO for the Pacific Fleet, Captain 3 rank Ilya Kolesnikov.
The rocket men will have to make a march from the point of permanent deployment to the positional area, where they will practice working out training tasks on the use of rocket weapons for their intended purpose.
- Upon arrival in the designated area, the division will deploy to positions on the Pacific coast and conduct training on the search and destruction of conditional targets without the actual use of missiles by electronic launches, - said Kolesnikov.
More than a hundred servicemen and more than 20 units of military equipment are taking part in the exercise.
