YEKATERINBURG, September 7. /TASS/. Combat crews of the anti-aircraft missile unit of the Central Military District, after re-equipping with new Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile systems, performed combat missile launches with 100% accuracy during the first exercises at the Kapustin Yar training ground in the Astrakhan region. This was reported on Tuesday by the press service of the district.
"The calculations of the Buk-M3 air defense system performed combat launches of two types of missiles and destroyed the high-speed maneuverable means of air attack of the "enemy". As targets, Saman target missiles were used, which carried out an approach from various directions and altitudes at a speed of about 1 thousand km/h.
