MOSCOW, September 4. /TASS/. Roscosmos plans to conduct two more launches of launch vehicles from the French Kourou cosmodrome by the end of the year. This was announced on Saturday on the air of the YouTube channel "Solovyov Live" by the head of the state corporation Dmitry Rogozin.
"We have launches from Baikonur, from Plesetsk and from the French Kourou cosmodrome. We should have two launches there by the end of the year," he said.
In January, the Deputy Director General of Roscosmos for International Cooperation, Sergey Savelyev, told TASS that the Russian Federation plans to carry out 10 launches of Soyuz-2 and Soyuz-ST launch vehicles in the interests of foreign customers in 2021. According to him, the launch of the European global satellite navigation system Galileo is expected from the Kourou cosmodrome.
