Speaking at the New Knowledge marathon, the head of Roscosmos noted that his age no longer allows him and "life has turned out differently"
MOSCOW, September 2. /TASS/. The general director of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, said that he could not fly into space because of his age and how his life turned out.
"I myself, of course, would dream of flying into space, but my age does not allow it, and life has already turned out differently," Rogozin said, speaking at the New Knowledge marathon on Thursday.
According to the head of Roscosmos, only astronauts fly into orbit, for which they study a lot. "Cosmonauts are unique people. Our task is to help raise a new generation of astronauts who will fly to distant planets, " he said.
The federal educational marathon "New Knowledge", dedicated to the Day of Knowledge, is held in Russia on September 1-3. The organizer is the society "Knowledge". More than 150 Russian and foreign scientists, politicians and public figures, athletes, writers, entrepreneurs will perform at the marathon. The first marathon "New Knowledge" was held in May, its events have gained over 70 million views on the Internet.
