Under the impartial gaze of unmanned aerial vehicles, exercises were held in the Kaliningrad Region with the participation of servicemen of the motorized rifle and tank regiments of the army Corps of the Baltic Fleet.
Motorized skirmishers and tankers were alerted and made a 60-kilometer march on standard equipment to the training ground. After that, during the week, they practiced tactical actions as part of reconnaissance and strike circuits with the support of attached artillery and air defense equipment.
Monitoring of training battles was carried out by calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles. In real time, data from the drone cameras was transmitted to the command post of the exercise management, which allowed an objective assessment of the actions at the training ground.
At the final stage, the servicemen performed test exercises on driving over rough terrain, shooting from all types of small arms, grenade launchers, weapons of infantry fighting vehicles, tanks, artillery and anti-aircraft missile guns.
More than 1.5 thousand people and about 300 pieces of equipment were involved in the exercises, Captain of the 1st rank Roman Martov, head of the information support department of the press service of the Western Military District for the Baltic Fleet, told the Military-Industrial Courier.
