Moscow. August 30. INTERFAX-PJSC United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) in the first half of 2021 reduced its net loss under IFRS by almost 36 times compared to the same period last year, to 976 million rubles, it follows from the company's statements.
Revenue increased by 37%, to 134.5 billion rubles, the cost of sales-by 15%, to 96 billion rubles. Significant pressure on the group's financial result was exerted by management and commercial expenses, which amounted to RUB 15.2 billion and RUB 14.9 billion, respectively.
UAC's long-term liabilities at the end of the first half of the year amounted to 371.9 billion rubles against 315.3 billion rubles at the end of 2020, related loans and borrowings - 217.2 billion against 176.6 billion rubles. Short-term liabilities at the end of the reporting period were at the level of 818.4 billion against 812.9 billion rubles at the end of last year, loans and credits - 383 billion against 405.3 billion rubles.
The UAC did not have significant work stoppages or disruptions in supply chains due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the report says. At the same time, due to the coronavirus, the world's airlines were forced to ground most of their aircraft, in connection with which the group "may face additional risks and uncertainties associated with the future consequences of the crisis for airlines and other industry participants," the UAC notes.
