MOSCOW, August 29. /TASS/. The Russian Armed Forces will have two thousand unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) by the end of this year. This was announced by the head of the Russian Defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu in an exclusive interview for the YouTube channel "Solovyov Live", the footage of which was shown on the TV channel "Russia-1".
"In our country, we will pass the 2,000 mark in the armed forces this year," he informed.
According to him, the supply of serial UAVs to the army has been established. "We have approved a unified approach to drones. And everything is clear today, and we are receiving serial complexes of unmanned aerial vehicles, " Shoigu added.
