KUBINKA /Moscow region/, August 28. /TASS/. Military Space Academy named after Mozhaisk has developed and is testing a virtual simulator for the installation and testing complex at the Plesetsk cosmodrome, the military university told reporters during the Army-2021 forum on Saturday.
"The first mode of working with the simulator is a lecture with a virtual walk around the complex, taking into account all geometric dimensions. The second mode is the mode of practical training, when the student can perform the duties of combat calculations, and the program controls the correctness and sequence of tasks. For example, if a person "took" some mechanism, climbed onto a launch vehicle and, for example, installed a pump and performed the correct sequence, then it turns green," the academy said.
The system is being run-in, tested and implemented as part of the educational process at the academy. The work with the model is carried out in VR-glasses and with the help of wireless manipulators.
