The mini-torpedo can be used to transport fighters of sabotage units, develops a speed of 3.5 km / h and is able to travel up to 20 km.
Mikhail Kettuev, deputy general Designer of the concern "Marine Underwater Weapons - Hydropribor", said that the tow truck allows you to use various attachments: a television camera, a compass, a flashlight, and so on. The Coral is powered by a lithium-ion battery. According to Kettuev, the torpedo is designed for human use in diving equipment and is capable of diving to a depth of up to 60 meters. "We have specially installed an indicator so that the diver does not pass the point of no return. When the indicator shows a discharge of about half, it means it's time to go back, " he said.
Kettuev stressed that the company is ready to modify the device depending on the customer's requirements. "And in St. Petersburg, people were interested in this tow truck, and today people from the armed forces came to the exhibition. It is of particular interest. Yes, everyone has their own point of view: someone believes that the handle is placed in the wrong place, someone believes that it is better to tow when something is holding you back from it. We will take this into account in our work and eventually develop it for the military, taking into account their requirements, " he said.

The tow truck is equipped with a Picatinny rail bar, which allows you to attach compatible attachments to it. The modular design of the device makes it easy to change it. The hull parts made of composite materials provide high reliability of the tow truck, which makes it possible to use it in difficult weather conditions, in confined spaces.
