In 2025, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia plans to complete the construction of all rescue centers along the entire Arctic coast. This figure was indicated by the first Deputy Minister Alexander Chupriyan.
Today, at a press conference in the TASS news agency, he said that there is never a lot of money, there is always not enough of it, but so far the plans have been drawn up so that the construction is calculated until 2025. This applies both to the completion of long-standing construction projects in Anadyr and Pevek, as well as new facilities that have yet to be built from scratch.
Earlier it was said that in Chukotka, the Academy of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia announced an auction for the construction of an Arctic training complex. According to the data posted on the state procurement website, the estimate of the Arctic complex of the emergency Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Chukotka will amount to 1.8 billion rubles. The results of the tender will be summed up in early September, and the construction itself is planned to be completed by October 2023.
The technical task includes administrative, residential, paramedic and household blocks. In addition, to ensure the activity of the aviation link on the territory of the existing airport in Pevek, it is planned to create hangars, office premises and recreation facilities for aviation personnel up to 18 people.
