BEIJING, August 25. /TASS/. China has launched an experimental communications satellite using the Changzheng-3-bi launch vehicle (CZ-3B, Long March-3B). This was reported on Wednesday by the Central Television of China.
According to him, the launch took place on Tuesday at 23:41 local time (18:41 Moscow time) from the Xichang cosmodrome (Sichuan Province, southwest China). The satellite successfully entered the specified orbit.
This launch was the 386th launch for the Changzheng series launch vehicles.
On Tuesday evening, China also launched two experimental satellites, Ronghe-01 and Ronghe-02. The devices of this series are demonstration satellites of Internet communication. The launch took place at 19:15 local time (14:15 Moscow time) from the Jiuquan cosmodrome (Gansu Province) using the Changzheng-2-xi carrier rocket (CZ-2C, Long March-2C).
