TSAMTO, August 25. Eleven new simulators of the Diamond DA-42T combat training aircraft will be delivered to the Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots until 2025.
The first copy of the Diamond DA-42T simulator (the Russian version of the Austrian Diamond aircraft), which is currently being tested, was presented at the Army-2021 International Military-Technical Forum. In November of this year, two such simulators will be delivered to the Krasnodar Flight School as part of the state defense order, next year three more, and 11 units will be delivered by 2025.
Training of cadets on the simulator will precede real departures. In addition, the simulator will help to identify the propensity of a particular cadet to a certain kind of aviation. "Thanks to the simulator, we have a clear picture of who this or that cadet is according to his psycho-physiological capabilities and what kind of aviation he has a predisposition to, military transport or operational-tactical."
The simulator, developed by the Krasnodar Flight School and JSC "RAA Special Equipment", is a completely identical training cabin of the aircraft. Pilots will be able to work out all sorts of difficult situations on it. The virtual environment repeats the airfields where pilots are trained-Balashov, Rtishchevo and Krasnodar-Tsentralny, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
