Earlier, Zelenodolsk shipbuilders delivered two pairs of "Cheetahs" to Vietnam, one in the shock version, the second in the anti - submarine version. Two ships of this project are part of the Caspian Flotilla of the Russian Navy.
Answering the question about the possibility of new orders from Vietnam, Mistakhov said: "There are certainly plans and a desire to continue successful cooperation in the field of military-technical cooperation with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. But the main deterrent in the negotiations was the pandemic. It takes time for the borders to open up, and then there will be understanding in certain projects. On the other hand, we try to constantly offer something interesting to foreign customers."
