Another state contract was also signed for the repair of the MiG-31 with modernization to the level of the MiG-31BM

KUBINKA /Moscow region/, August 24. /TASS/. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation signed a contract for the modernization of the carriers of the Dagger MiG-31K hypersonic missiles within the framework of the Army-2021 forum, the military department told reporters.

Currently, one MiG-31K squadron is on experimental combat duty. "A state contract has been signed for the repair and modernization of MiG-31K interceptor fighters. Another state contract has also been signed for the repair of the MiG-31 with modernization to the level of the MiG-31BM, " the Defense Ministry said.

The document was signed by Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Alexey Krivoruchko and Managing Director of RSC MiG Andrey Gerasimchuk. The parameters of the agreement are not disclosed.
