INTERFAX-The contract for the supply of the next batch of T-90M "Breakthrough" tanks, as well as for the modernization of T-90M combat tanks to the level of T-90M, was signed on Tuesday by the Russian military department and Uralvagonzavod, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
"State contracts have been signed for the supply of T-90M tanks and for the overhaul of T-90 tanks with modernization to the level of T-90M," the report says.
The contract was signed at the Army-2021 forum.
In addition, the agency has signed a contract with Remdiesel for the supply of protected air-mounted special-purpose vehicles, armored ambulances, as well as for the overhaul of light armored MT-LB tractors, which will be equipped with Kord machine guns, the report says.
