The T-90M "Breakthrough" tanks of the Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District will be used for the first time in a number of tactical exercises taking place in the Nizhny Novgorod region at the Mulino training ground. This is reported by the press service of the ZVO.
"The first deliveries of the new T-90M" Breakthrough" vehicle began at the beginning of this year, " said Colonel-General Alexander Zhuravlev, commander of the ZVO troops.
Tank crews have already taken part in the military parade on Red Square on May 9, after which they began performing combat training tasks at military training grounds in the Moscow region.
Combat vehicles received a fundamentally new turret and a more powerful engine. They are equipped with a new multi-channel sight that ensures the use of weapons at any time of the day, and one of the main features of the upgraded tank is the ability to exchange data with other vehicles in real time.
