Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yuri Borisov said that this will allow to establish closer contact between manufacturers and potential customers
KUBINKA /Moscow region/, August 23. /TASS/. A separate forum dedicated to the diversification of the military-industrial complex can be created in Russia. This was stated on Monday by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yuri Borisov at the Army-2021 forum.
"We need to think about holding a permanent forum of our own, where it would be possible to make closer contact between manufacturers and potential customers. To invite enterprises to it, " Borisov said.
The idea of creating a forum was expressed during the plenary session by Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev and supported by the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin.
"I would like to suggest considering the possibility of holding a separate forum related to both diversification and a meeting of civilian products of the country's defense complex and consumers in the broad sense of the word, including, possibly, foreign contractors," Likhachev said.
