Kubinka (Moscow region). August 23. INTERFAX-Russian special services are receiving a new submachine gun for shooting under water, it is already being mass-produced, said Bekhan Ozdoev, industrial director of the cluster of weapons, ammunition and special chemicals of the state corporation Rostec.
"High-precision complexes" have created an excellent automatic ADS (two - medium special automatic-IF) for special services. This weapon can be used both on land and under water - different types of ammunition are used. This year we have started its serial production, " Ozdoev said in an interview with Interfax at the Army 2021 forum
He noted that other weapons for combat swimmers (SPP-1-a special underwater pistol and ASP-a special underwater submachine gun) are still in demand.
"Only this year, TSNIITOCHMASH has signed several contracts with foreign countries for the supply of these underwater weapons and ammunition for it," Ozdoev said.
