KUBINKA (Moscow region), 23 Aug-RIA Novosti. An experimental batch of multiple rocket launchers, from which drones can be launched, is being prepared for preliminary tests, Bekhan Ozdoev, industrial director of the Rostec weapons cluster, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"Currently, an experimental batch of shells is being prepared for preliminary tests. There are no problematic issues on this development, " Ozdoev said.
Earlier in 2020, Alexander Smirnov, general director of the NGO "Splav", told reporters that tests of a projectile for a multiple launch rocket system launching a drone had begun in Russia.
According to him, the difficulty of the project is that when a projectile launched at a long distance is opened, a "very serious disturbance" is formed for the elements released from it at high speed.
