Dmitry Rogozin, the Director General of Roscosmos, and Bill Nelson, the head of NASA, will discuss the issues of extending the operation of the International Space Station (ISS) at a meeting in October. According to the representative of Roscosmos, Rogozin will meet with his American counterpart in the UAE. "Nelson promised to come by the end of the year, but most likely, the real meeting will be held in Dubai in October during the Astronautical Congress," he said.
Saveliev answered in the affirmative to the question whether the issue of extending the operation of the ISS will be discussed during the negotiations.
Earlier, Rogozin called Russian specialists capable of challenging Elon Musk. He stressed that the design bureau operates on the basis of Samara University, new generations of young scientists and designers are being trained.
