PATRIOT PARK /Moscow Region/, August 20. /TASS/. The Russian Navy will present a new combat module and a promising unmanned aerial vehicle at the Army-2021 international military-technical forum, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, Commander-in-chief of the Navy, told reporters.
According to him, within the framework of the Navy cluster, the forum will show the latest technical developments for the navy, models of modern and promising surface ships and submarines.
"A number of full-size models of promising weapons and equipment will be presented, including the ship's remote-controlled Narwhal module with the ability to remotely control a 12.7 - mm machine gun, as well as automatic target tracking and data generation for firing," Evmenov said.
In addition, the admiral noted, a promising unmanned aerial vehicle of an unconventional scheme will be shown, the advantage of which is increased operational safety and maneuverability.
The commander-in-Chief added that within the framework of the Navy cluster, it is worth noting the stand of the main command of the Navy, located in pavilion " C " and executed in the form of a commander's bridge of a surface ship - a frigate of project 22350 - with visualization of missile launch silos, equipped with training simulation tools with image output on a video screen.
