Kubinka (Moscow region). On August 20, INTERFAX-Russia will perform for the first time on improved Su-34 HVO front-line bombers at the Aviadarts competition of the International Army Games "ArMI-2021", Colonel-General Yuri Grekhov told reporters at a briefing.
"Our crews perform on Su-25SM3, Su-30SM, Su-34 HVO, Su-35S, Tu-22M3, Il-76MD aircraft," Grekhov said.
According to him, the team from Belarus will perform on Su-25 attack aircraft, pilots from China will participate in their own aircraft: Jian-10, Jian-16 fighters (an analogue of the Su-35), Yun-9 transport aircraft (an analogue of the An-12), Yun-20 (an analogue of the Il-76) and long-range aircraft Hong-6 (an analogue of the Tu-16). Helicopter crews will participate in the competition for the Mi-8, Mi-24, Mi-28n and Ka-52.
"The first training flights have already taken place, the crews got acquainted with the flight area, routes, target situation. Each of the teams arrived at the competition on their own equipment, " the deputy head of the committee added.
Grekhov also recalled that the international stage of the competition will be held in the Ryazan Region, with teams from Russia, Belarus and China participating in it - about 60 crews.
