Technodinamika Holding will give forum visitors the opportunity to be in the Arctic and repeat the record jump of Russian paratroopers from the stratosphere with a Stayer parachute
MOSCOW, August 20. /TASS/. Thanks to VR glasses from the Technodinamika holding of Rostec State Corporation, visitors to the Army-2021 forum will be able to repeat the record jump of Russian paratroopers from the stratosphere with a Stayer parachute in virtual reality. This was told to journalists on Friday in the press service of Technodinamika.
"The holding will provide visitors to the Army-2021 International Military-Technical Forum with the opportunity to be in the Arctic and repeat the record jump of Russian paratroopers from the stratosphere with a Stayer parachute. Anyone can experience acute emotions with the help of VR glasses, which allow them to be in the place of a serviceman during a unique landing, " the press service said, noting that thanks to the simulator with VR glasses, the feeling of free fall will last about two and a half minutes.
A unique jump in April 2020 was made for the first time in the world by a group of Russian paratroopers. A combined detachment of special purpose units equipped with Stayer parachute systems, oxygen and navigation equipment landed on Franz Josef Land from an altitude of 10 km-the lower boundary of the stratosphere.
The special purpose parachute system "Steyer" is designed for landing special units and power structures from altitudes of 700 -10 000 meters. The system has the ability to attach a cargo container weighing up to 50 kg, as well as weapons and oxygen equipment to the parachutist's suspension system.
The International military-Technical Forum "Army-2021" will be held in the Patriot Shopping Center from August 22 to 28.
