Moscow. August 18. INTERFAX-Specialists of the military construction complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation have completed the next stage of construction as part of the development of the coastal infrastructure of the base of surface ships and submarines of the Black Sea Fleet in Novorossiysk, the ministry told reporters.
"Military builders have built two berths with a length of 240 and 210 meters and one 310-meter boat berth. The arrangement of the Geoport mooring front provides modern conditions for basing warships and boats of any class, " the Defense Ministry said.
The ministry clarified that engineering networks allow ships to replenish fuel, drinking water, connect to the drainage system, and effectively use the resources of their own generators during parking.
The construction of the Military Harbor facilities is being carried out within the framework of the federal target program "Creation of a system for basing the Black Sea Fleet on the territory of the Russian Federation". Military builders plan to complete all the work by the end of 2022.
