Artillery units of the armed forces of the Government of National Accord of Libya have adopted a wheeled self-propelled installation based on the Ural-4320 car. Such an ACS, armed with a D-30 howitzer, was recently lit up for the first time in one of the training centers during a visit to this facility by the leadership of the PNS.

The 122-mm gun is openly mounted on the platform of the all-terrain vehicle and has the ability to turn 360 degrees. For stability during firing, the combat vehicle is equipped with 4 outriggers. During the march, the trunk is fixed with a special device mounted behind the cab. The rate of fire is 8 rounds per minute. The maximum firing range of a high-explosive fragmentation projectile weighing 21.76 kg is 15,400 meters. There are also active-jet ammunition capable of hitting the enemy at a distance of up to 22,000 meters. The maximum speed is 85 km / h. The calculation consists of four people.
Such self-made self-propelled guns are currently being operated in the armies of many states, for example in Algeria, Egypt, Syria, Sudan, Laos and others.
Also in this training center, two 2C3 "Acacia"tracked self-propelled guns, rare for Libya, were noticed. At one time, 36 such combat vehicles were purchased in the Soviet Union. By the beginning of the civil war, all of them were in storage, so they did not take part in the battles. Only in recent years, the warring parties have managed to reanimate literally several units.
