MOSCOW, August 17. /TASS/. Roscosmos plans to conduct a technical and economic assessment of the creation and operation of the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS) until 2025. This is stated in the documents posted on the public procurement portal.

"The purpose of the ROC [development work] is a feasibility study of the work on the creation and operation of the Russian segment of the International Space Station (PC ISS) in the period 2022-2025," the terms of reference say.

The ROC provides for an analysis of the implementation of state contracts for the operation of the segment, a feasibility study of its transport and technical support, the issuance of conclusions on the materials of the head developer to assess the costs of operation and other work. The initial price is 67.6 million rubles.

It is assumed that reports on the feasibility study of the work on the creation and operation of the ISS segment in the period 2022-2025 will be provided annually, including "the development of regulatory and methodological materials for determining the costs of creating and operating promising manned vehicles for the ISS PC," the documents say.

On July 31, Roscosmos, following a meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council, announced that the rocket and Space Corporation Energia will analyze the state of the Russian segment of the ISS and take organizational and technical measures to maintain its operability during the creation of a new orbital station. Roscosmos stressed that a scenario for the completion of the ISS operation, agreed with partners, will also be developed.

Earlier, Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin said that the launch of the Berth node module to the ISS is scheduled for November 24. According to him, the module will expand the possibilities of docking with the station of Russian ships, including the new lunar spacecraft "Eagle".
