From the bmpd side, we indicate that information about the order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for an additional brigade set of the 9K720 Iskander-M operational and tactical missile system has not been published, and this set will be the 14th received by the Russian Armed Forces.
Earlier, from 2010 to 2019, under three contracts, JSC "Research and Production Corporation" KB Mashinostroeniya " supplied the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation with 13 brigade sets of the Iskander-M missile defense system, which re-equipped 10 missile brigades previously equipped with the Tochka-U missile system, and additionally equipped three missile brigades (3rd, 12th and 464th) of the new formation. It can be assumed that the new brigade set of the Iskander-M OTRK will also be used to equip the missile brigade of the new formation.
