MOSCOW, August 13. /TASS/. A large anti-submarine ship (BOD) "Vice Admiral Kulakov" of the Northern Fleet (SF) of the Russian Navy entered the English Channel, the press service of the SF reported on Friday.
"Today, a detachment of ships and support vessels, led by a large anti-submarine ship "Vice Admiral Kulakov" of the Northern Fleet, has passed the Pas-de-Calais Strait and continues its movement in the south direction in the waters of the English Channel," the report says.
The detachment also includes the corvette "Gremyashchy" of the Pacific Fleet and the minesweeper "Vladimir Yemelyanov" of the Black Sea Fleet. These ships, after participating in the Main Naval Parade, joined the detachment of ships and support vessels of the Northern Fleet in the waters of the North Sea on August 12.
In the future, in accordance with the plans of long-distance trips, the crews of ships and support vessels will have to work out a number of tasks of inter-fleet interaction.
