On August 5, the transfer of two Tu-214PU narrow-body aircraft to the Special Flight Detachment "Russia" took place at the airfield of the Kazan Aircraft Factory Borisoglebskoye.
According to the press service of the UAC, an improved interior is installed on the aircraft, featuring advanced technical and design solutions. The aircraft are equipped with modern systems and equipment that meet the newly introduced and promising international requirements.
According to the Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies, the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Special Flight Detachment "Russia" of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation has delivered the last two special-purpose aircraft-the Tu - 214PU control center, manufactured under a 2017 contract for three aircraft of this type for the SLO "Russia"-boards with registration numbers RA-64532 (factory number 44912032, serial number 532) and RA-64533 (factory number 44912033, serial number 533). The RA-64532 made its first flight in Kazan on June 19, 2020, and the RA-64533-on December 29, 2020.
The Tu-214PU is equipped with PS-90A engines and fully meets the international requirements for noise on the ground and the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere.
S. P. Gorbunov KAZ performs repair and modernization of Tu-160 strategic missile carriers and Tu-22M3 bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The company produces piece-by-piece production of special-purpose aircraft based on the serial Tu-214 aircraft for state structures of the Russian Federation. The plant also produces the tail unit for the IL-76MD-90A transport aircraft, individual components and assemblies of aircraft in cooperation with other UAC enterprises.
