On Tuesday, at the Single Day of Military Acceptance, Deputy Defense Minister Alexey Krivoruchko said that this year the Navy will receive three new nuclear and one diesel-electric submarines, as well as six combat surface ships.
Separately, the deputy minister spoke about the latest hypersonic missile "Zircon", which is planned to equip some modern ships and submarines. According to Krivoruchko, its state tests will be completed in 2021.
The Deputy Minister also said that the Strategic Missile Forces will receive 15 intercontinental ballistic missiles, and the Russian Aerospace Forces will receive four serial multifunctional fighters of the fifth generation Su-57.
Among the other arsenal that our Armed Forces will strengthen by the end of 2021, Krivoruchko named the Bastion coastal missile systems (three units will be delivered to the troops) and modern anti-aircraft missile systems-seven units by the end of the year.
