The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) received about 30 aircraft and helicopters from defense enterprises in the first half of 2021. According to him, 2 new and 3 repaired aircraft, 8 new and 14 repaired combat helicopters were delivered in the interests of the VKS.
The VKS also supplied 2 complexes with unmanned aerial vehicles "Forpost-R", 12 new and 15 repaired radar stations for various purposes, more than 32 thousand units of aviation weapons.
Andrey Semenov, Acting Managing Director of PJSC Arsenyevskaya Aviation Company Progress, reported on the delivery of six Ka-52 combat reconnaissance attack helicopters to the troops at the event. Vadim Badekha, General Director of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant, in turn, spoke about the delivery of two complexes with six unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) "Outpost-R". According to him, two more complexes will be delivered by the end of this year.
Earlier, Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu instructed to conclude a long-term contract for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.
