In 2019, China overtook the United States in the number of warships. Despite this, there are no competitors to the American fleet in terms of total tonnage and combat capabilities yet.
To evaluate the entire surface and underwater fleet of American military equipment, Raytheon has released a poster with a complete list of all ships and submarines of the US Navy. It shows all active and under construction combat units. At the same time, there are no ships of the ESB (Expeditionary Sea Base) type on the poster, which have recently also been conditionally enrolled in combat units.
