Moscow. August 2. INTERFAX-Units of the military air defense (air defense) of the army Corps and marine corps units will conduct exercises on the territory of the Kaliningrad Region as part of the field exit that has begun, the Baltic Fleet (BF) said on Monday.
"At the final stage of the field exit with the units, fire control training will be conducted as part of the divisions and live firing from standard weapons. Combat crews will destroy air targets that simulate planes, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles of a simulated enemy flying at various altitudes and speeds, " the report says.
To designate the means of air attack of the "enemy", it is planned to use aircraft and helicopters of the naval aviation of the fleet, as well as special means of imitation and air targets, informs the BF.
"The tasks of conducting the air defense of the Kaliningrad Region will involve Igla portable anti-aircraft missile systems, Tunguska anti-aircraft cannon and missile systems, Shilka anti-aircraft artillery systems, anti-aircraft missile systems and complexes, including Tor M-2 and others, which are in service with military air defense units," the message says.
According to the BF, " practical classes will be held at several training grounds in the Kaliningrad region."
