TSAMTO, August 2. A separate unit of the Pacific Fleet RCBZ (TOF), stationed in the Primorsky Territory, received a batch of five new TDA-3 thermal smoke machines for setting aerosol curtains.
The TDA-3 is made on the basis of the KamAZ-5350 all-terrain vehicle. The TDA-3 power plant is an engine that converts special mixtures into a thick aerosol curtain. It makes it possible to put both a horizontal and a raised curtain, which is capable of providing camouflage for ships and other objects of basing points.
The new machine allows you to hide objects not only in the visible, but also in the infrared range of electromagnetic radiation. In addition, the machine can be used for disinfection, degassing and decontamination of terrain areas, buildings and other large objects by spraying solutions for special treatment.
Unlike the previous version, the crew of the new car consists of two people. The kit also includes a portable control panel that allows you to control the equipment at a distance, the press service of the Eastern Military District reports.
