Specialists of the concern" Radioelectronic Technologies "of the Rostec state Corporation have developed an installation capable of purifying the air in an airplane from all known viruses. The first presentation of the new system took place at MAKS-2021, as reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
The device was named "Tiokraft VR1000 AERO" and is a new model of the line of air purifiers, which are serially produced by the Ramenskoye Instrument-Making Plant.
The device has an efficiency of over 99.9% and cleans the air from all known viruses, including COVID-19. So the minimum size of the particles that are neutralized by "Thiocraft" is 10 nanometers, for comparison, the size of the virion of the SARS-CoV-2 virus is from 50 to 200 nanometers. It is noted that the use of the installation is possible both during the pre-flight preparation of the aircraft, and directly during the flight.
The disinfection technology has been confirmed by appropriate tests. "Tiokraft" is distinguished by the small dimensions and mobility of the installation.
