"Today, another orbital module, the Berth, has been sent to Baikonur from RSC Energia. He will be "taken" to the space station on a Progress truck. The launch is scheduled for November 24, " Rogozin wrote in his telegram channel.
According to Roscosmos, in recent weeks, RSC Energia specialists have successfully completed a cycle of joint tests of the Berth module with complex stands of the Zvezda service module and the multi-purpose laboratory module Nauka.
"After the final operations, the undocked components of the spacecraft and ground test equipment were prepared for shipment to the cosmodrome by rail," the state corporation said in a statement.
It is noted that the "Berth "will be launched into low-Earth orbit as part of the Progress M-UM transport cargo ship module using the Soyuz-2.1 launch vehicle.
