An unscheduled spacewalk is not required, Roscosmos reported

The specialists of the Mission Control Center (MCC) did not detect mechanical interference for the docking of the multi-purpose laboratory module (MLM) "Science" with the International Space Station (ISS), an unscheduled spacewalk is not required. This was reported on Tuesday in Roscosmos.
"Last night, the specialists of the Mission Control Center studied the docking node of the nadir port of the Zvezda module, where the multi-purpose laboratory module Nauka is planned to dock. As a result of the analysis, the absence of mechanical interference for docking was established," the message posted on the Telegram channel of Roscosmos says.
The ministry stressed that the docking units are ready for the planned docking of the "Science", and an unscheduled spacewalk is not required.
Earlier, the Pirs module was undocked from the ISS and flooded in the non-navigable area of the Pacific Ocean. Its place should be taken by the MLM "Nauka", which was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome on July 21. Initially, the flooding was planned for July 23, but it was postponed for three days.
